US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL. The APP will work both independently and collaboratively with our cardiologists in a hospital-based role at St. Vincent East.
For over 25 years, Birmingham Heart Clinic has served the community with high-quality cardiovascular care. Our team of 16 physicians specializes in treating coronary, carotid, and peripheral artery disease, and performing minimally invasive procedures including aortic aneurysm repair and aortic valve replacement.
Position Highlights:
Full-time hospital-based position Monday-Friday with one weekend per month and two days off the following week
Assist cardiologists with rounding and discharges
8-hour shifts
EMR: Cerner
Qualifications:
Active Alabama NP license (or willingness to obtain)
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Open to new Acute Care NP graduates with prior cardiology nursing experience
