What You’ll Do:
- Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population, birth to death
- Perform suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, minor burn management, and skin lesion care
- Stabilize orthopedic injuries, splinting, casting, and joint reduction
- Conduct diagnostic procedures including X-ray interpretation and point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID, RSV, urinalysis, blood glucose)
- Manage epistaxis with packing or cautery, cerumen impaction removal
- Support airway management with nebulizer treatments and emergency stabilization
- Document care accurately in Epic EMR system
What You Need:
- Active Physician Assistant license in Virginia
- 1+ year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, I&D, splinting, and basic diagnostics
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
