Emplify Health, through Bellin Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our growing cancer program in Marinette, Wisconsin. This opportunity offers the ideal balance of clinical excellence, multidisciplinary support, professional autonomy, and an exceptional quality of life along Wisconsin's picturesque waterfront.

Comprehensive Cancer Care Team:

As part of our integrated cancer program, physicians have access to extensive specialty resources across the Bellin Health system including: 

 

  • Clinical research and Cancer Clinical Trials 
  • Medical Oncology and Infusion Services 
  • Radiation Oncology 
  • Palliative Medicine 
  • Genetic Counseling 
  • Oncology Nurse Navigation 
  • Counseling and Supportive Care Services
  • Nutrition and Dietician Support 
  • Physical Therapy and Lymphedema management 
  • Specialty Infusion Services
  • Onsite Infusion Pharmacy

Several specialty services regularly rotate through the Marinette location, including radiation oncology, palliative care, genetic counseling, nutrition services, and oncology navigation, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care close to home.

  • Patient likelihood-to-recommend scores in the 99th percentile 
  • Team-based care model with experienced physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and support staff
  • weekly multidisciplinary tumor board participation 
  • 24/7 nurse triage service 
  • Single hospital coverage model 
  • Inpatient support from intensivists and hospitalists 
  • Access to a full complement of medical and surgical subspecialists 
  • Opportunity for outreach practice and collaboration throughout the region 
  • Typical patient volume of 12-16 patients per day, including new consultations, follow-up visits, and cancer treatment management
  • Monday through Friday clinic schedule with no evening clinic hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Lifestyle and Call:

 

This position offers excellent work-life balance with a manageable call structure and strong clinical support

 

  • Shared call rotation of approximately 1:5
  • Weekend rounding approximately every fifth weekend 
  • Potential occasional coverage in Green Bay or outreach services in Oconto
  • Dedicated support services allowing physicians to focus on patient care 

Qualifications:

 

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology 
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based cancer care 
  • Desire to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary oncology program 
  • Licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Michigan
