What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine care within a value-based, population health-focused clinic
- Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in clinical and research activities
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects, journal clubs, and educational workshops
- Incorporate social determinants of health and patient-centered approaches into clinical practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, and social workers
- Promote equitable, high-value care standards and contribute to institutional health equity initiatives
- Use population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Support operational goals and clinical process improvements within the department
- Maintain expertise in internal medicine, health equity science, and value-based care frameworks
What You Need
- Valid Texas Medical License and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to health equity, quality improvement, and innovative patient care
