What You’ll Do:
- Provide inpatient general surgery call coverage during scheduled dates
- Be on 24-hour beeper call with the potential for callbacks
- Collaborate with hospital staff in a busy medical setting
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and credentialing standards
- Follow policies for clean file requirements, including active AK license and current DEA
- Complete orientation and provide emergent surgical support as needed
- Work efficiently within a hospital environment ensuring patient safety and quality care
What You Need:
- Valid and active Alaska medical license
- DEA registration in Alaska
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications
- Clean professional record: no settlements, DUIs, restrictions, or medical board actions
- Prior general surgery call coverage experience preferred
