- Conduct morning rounds, including discharge and postoperative care
- Assist in OR and ICU procedures, including robotic surgeries and complex repairs
- Manage patient care in stepdown units and during transfers
- Perform endoscopic harvesting and conduit preparation
- Document daily progress notes and manage post-op patient discharge
- Respond to emergency cases and provide call coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with a team of 4 surgeons and 4 PAs in a high-volume surgical environment
Required:
- Washington State Physician Assistant license
- BLS certification
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery or ICU care
Preferred:
- Experience with robotic surgeries and complex cardiac procedures
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac patient management and perioperative care
This position involves working in a busy cardiac surgery team performing advanced procedures such as robotic lobectomies, valve replacements, CABG, and ECMO management. You will participate in rounding, discharge, and critical patient care, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality surgical outcomes.
