Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct morning rounds, including discharge and postoperative care
  • Assist in OR and ICU procedures, including robotic surgeries and complex repairs
  • Manage patient care in stepdown units and during transfers
  • Perform endoscopic harvesting and conduit preparation
  • Document daily progress notes and manage post-op patient discharge
  • Respond to emergency cases and provide call coverage as scheduled
  • Collaborate with a team of 4 surgeons and 4 PAs in a high-volume surgical environment
What You Need
Required:
  • Washington State Physician Assistant license
  • BLS certification
  • Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery or ICU care

Preferred:
  • Experience with robotic surgeries and complex cardiac procedures
  • Strong clinical skills in cardiac patient management and perioperative care
About the Assignment
This position involves working in a busy cardiac surgery team performing advanced procedures such as robotic lobectomies, valve replacements, CABG, and ECMO management. You will participate in rounding, discharge, and critical patient care, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality surgical outcomes.
