Physician - Neurological Surgery

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks two BC/BE general neurosurgeons to join our busy and growing hospital-employed practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary trauma program supported by highly skilled staff.

Position Details:

• Recently completed modernization efforts include a dedicated neuroscience center with a focus on stroke and complex spine care.
• Upgrades include enhancements to our facilities, operating rooms, and equipment, featuring a state-of-the-art 3D C-Arm and image-guided navigation systems.
• Join 3 surgeons and 5 physician associates
• Support services include in-house hospitalists, a dedicated stroke team, neurology, interventional pain management, rehabilitation services, diagnostic neuroradiology, a fully staffed ICU, PICU, and NICU, all supported by dedicated intensivists.

Compensation Information:

• $800,000 to $900,000 annual base salary, with the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on productivity.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.  The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc
