TruCare Medical Practice is a family-oriented primary care clinic seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. Quick Look:

  • Schedule: Part-Time (2.5 to 4 days per week). We offer highly flexible hours tailored to your needs (e.g., afternoon shifts from 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
  • True Clinical Mentorship: Highly collaborative environment. Physician leadership is engaged, supportive, loves teaching, and encourages asking questions.
  • Location: Outpatient clinic in Fairfax, VA.

Practice Overview:

  • Quality Over Quantity: There is absolutely no pressure to churn through 15-minute visits. You will manage a highly comfortable volume of 2 to 3 patients per hour with dedicated 30-minute appointment blocks scheduled for everyone.
  • Broad Scope of Care: Manage a diverse patient panel across the lifespan. Bread and butter primary care, including some acute and chronic disease management. You will have the opportunity to build your own patient panel.
  • Structure: We heavily emphasize patient relationship-building. No in-office procedure responsibility. Supported by a tight-knit administrative team.

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting pay for this role is roughly $57 to $70 per hour and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Virginia Physician Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience: Open to all experience levels; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.
  • Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.
