OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA (USA). The Department of Pathology of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and OU Health seeks an exceptional pediatric pathologist to join our team of diagnosticians. The holder of this consecutive term position at assistant professor to professor rank will practice at OU Health, the states flagship academic health system, including the Oklahoma Childrens Hospital and the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. The successful candidate will conduct collaborative or independent scholarship and teach. Allocation of effort is flexible, with clinician, clinician-educator, and clinician-scientist tracks available.
The OU Department of Pathology strives to fulfill our mission of great patient care, research, and education by recruiting and developing top talent. Our over 35 clinical faculty members serve all of Oklahoma, providing diagnostic medicine to patients with the most complex conditions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b893ATxkNY). With strengths in cancer biology, diabetes, and nanomedicine, the 12 members of our experimental pathology division advance molecular pathogenesis, diagnostics, and drug discovery; they also train students in our PhD program. Furthermore, our clinician-scientists conduct investigations in dermatopathology, gynecologic pathology, and hematopathology.

Centers of excellence include the Stephenson Cancer Center, the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center, the Oklahoma Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in Aging Research, and our burgeoning neuroscience program.
