• Shifts run 9 am - 9 am -- typically 48 - 72+ hour shifts
• Approx. 4 - 8 shifts per month
• Daily census averages 3 ER patients, 1 inpatient/respite/obs
• Annual ER volume of 1,000 - 1,200 patients
• Rounding on inpatients required in addition to ER coverage
• Single MD coverage -- no APP support
• Hospital privileges required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
