- Days 7 am - 7 pm & nights 7 pm - 7 am -- pool coverage as needs arise
- 6 - 12 patients during the day
- Night admissions average 0 - 3 -- exceptions are rare
- Comprehensive cancer center -- no emergency room
- Highly trained nursing staff available for support
- Respond to codes -- typically DNR; no procedures; closed ICU
- Holiday and block shift coverage -- generally 4 - 7 shifts every few months
