What You’ll Do
- Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a Level 1 NICU facility
- Manage patient encounters related to labor and delivery, GYN, and postpartum care
- Assist with patient management outside of deliveries, averaging 184 encounters monthly
- Collaborate with in-house anesthesia team available 24/7
- Support hospital staff with backup OB/GYN on-call coverage
- Follow established protocols for labor and delivery care
- Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- Medical license in Mississippi or willingness to obtain
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts, flexible schedule
Preferred:
- Prior hospitalist experience in obstetrics
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
