What You’ll Do
- Perform upper endoscopies and colonoscopies with moderate sedation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to safely administer sedation
- Manage cases efficiently, typically booked with 30-minute procedures, or combined sessions lasting up to 60 minutes
- Follow facility protocols and maintain high standards of patient care
- Document findings accurately and communicate effectively with the medical team
- Ensure safety and comfort for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
What You Need
- Valid MD license in Maryland or willingness to obtain
- Experience performing endoscopies, preferably with moderate sedation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Comfort with managing sedation procedures independently, with occasional anesthesiology support
