- Full-time, hospital-employed Physician Advisor role in an acute care setting
- Lead utilization management, peer review, and clinical documentation improvement
- Collaborate with case management and physicians to address barriers to discharge
- Identify and manage observation-status patients for appropriate inpatient transitions
- M.D. or D.O. required; MBA, MPH, or MHA preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Physician Advisor experience in an acute care environment required
- Knowledge of InterQual, Milliman, or similar utilization review guidelines preferred
