What You'll Do:
- Assess and treat patients in the emergency department, including triage and stabilization
- Perform emergency procedures as needed in a high-pressure setting
- Provide rapid clinical decision-making for adult and pediatric patients
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in EMR
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Cover triage roles as volume demands, working alongside board-certified emergency physicians
- Participate in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment with the support of ancillary services such as Radiology, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, and more
What You Need:
Required:
- Satisfactory completion of PA/NP program
- Current Michigan license to practice as PA/Nurse Practitioner
- Michigan controlled substance license and DEA registration
- AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
- Emergency department experience with both adults and children
Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED setting
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
