The Miami VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and collaborative Urologist to join its Surgery Service. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is committed to high-quality surgical care, teamwork, and contributing to the continued growth of a VA academic medical center.

Practice Highlights

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical urologic care to adult Veterans.
• Evaluate, diagnose, consult, and provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Perform a broad range of urologic procedures, including endoscopic, percutaneous, and open surgical procedures involving the urinary and reproductive systems and related structures.
• Manage disorders of the genitourinary system and adrenal gland.
• Conduct outpatient urology clinics and provide ongoing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage hospitalized patients and provide inpatient urologic consultations for other clinical services.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Serve as a consultant to primary care physicians and other specialists throughout the healthcare system.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and other allied health professionals.
• Participate in emergency and on-call coverage.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and ongoing management.
• Participate in the education and supervision of residents, trainees, and other healthcare professionals.
