- Schedule: 24-hour call, once a month (Saturday 7:00 AM to Saturday 6:59 AM)
- Duration: Minimum 6 months, 1 week/month coverage
- Shift: In-house from 7a-7p, pager overnight

- License/Certifications: MI medical license, Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ACLS
- Experience: Fellowship in Gastroenterology required
- Pay rate: Competitive hourly rate, including orientation and holiday coverage

- Additional info: Rate cap at $22K, travel expenses (domestic flights, lodging, rental car) approved per policy
- Provide inpatient Gastroenterology consults and follow-up care
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 8 follow-up patients daily and 6-8 new consults
- Cover in-hospital call responsibilities on a scheduled basis
- Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency teams to deliver quality patient care
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Support level II trauma center operations with adult and geriatric populations
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
- Active MI medical license, ACLS certification
- Clean malpractice and license history
- Preferred: ERCP experience (not required)
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant clinical experience
