Candidates must have all required credentials active and in hand at presentation
Completed a 3-year residency in:
Emergency Medicine
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine with moonlighting approval
Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM, FM, or IM
2,000+ contact hours within the past 2 years in an ED or acute care setting
Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license
Active Mississippi DEA with a Mississippi address and Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
Active CSR, if required
Documentation of case logs from the past 2 years
Proof of 40 CME hours completed within the past 2 years
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required if you are not board certified in Emergency Medicine or did not complete EM training.
Additional RequirementsModerate sedation experience
Flu vaccination required
COVID vaccination preferred, but not required
$100K/$300K claims-made malpractice coverage
Must be available to provide supervision or backup coverage for NPs/PAs
To be considered for presentation, physicians must have their active state medical license, board certification/eligibility, applicable DEA, and CSR (if required) in hand. Pending credentials cannot be accepted for presentation.
