What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient critical care for pediatric patients (ages 0-18) in the Pediatric ICU setting
- Support and collaborate with nurse practitioners and staff during your scheduled shifts
- Conduct patient rounds and assessments in pediatric PICU units
- Manage 7-15 patients daily, ensuring the highest level of care and safety
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient records
- Follow established clinical protocols and update treatment plans as needed
- Participate in on-call rotations and multidisciplinary care planning
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA certification
- BLS & PALS certifications
- Minimum of 5 years PICU experience
Preferred:
- Experience working in inpatient pediatric critical care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
