Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a pediatric neuromuscular neurologist. The successful candidate will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.

A unique opportunity to join a growing, mission-driven program dedicated to advancing clinical care, expanding research innovation and delivering transformative therapies to children with neuromuscular disorders, and plans to establish a neuromuscular fellowship in the future

The program’s participation in clinical trials and emerging therapeutics, including precision medicine and gene-targeted therapies, offers a unique opportunity to deliver state-of-the-art care while contributing to scholarship and innovation

Provide consultative services and longitudinal care for children and adolescents with neuromuscular disorders

Faculty appointment with UAMS, with academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications

Established and expanding multidisciplinary clinics with coordinated ancillary support

Participation in nationally recognized care networks and standards-based programs

UAMS supports foreign medical graduates including J-1 waivers, H-1B, and O-1 visa types

Opportunity to serve as a site investigator and/or lead clinical trials in neuromuscular therapeutics, including emerging disease-modifying and gene-targeted therapies
