Job Requirements

University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson, Maryland, is looking for a BE/BC Infectious Disease Physician to join its team.

Job Specifics:

• SJMC is a CMS 5-Star hospital and ranked the #1 community hospital in Maryland by the U.S. News and World Report.
• Infectious Disease is an established and successful program of 2 physicians with an established office practice.
• The ID department is responsible for seeing inpatient consults, running outpatient clinic, participating in hospital wide antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention activities.
• Great breadth of pathology, interesting cases. Flexible work schedule, supportive work environment with great camaraderie between colleagues, reasonable workload, strong relationship with University of Maryland ID faculty in terms of research collaboration and back up clinical care, opportunity to teach University of Maryland infectious disease fellows.
• Call coverage is every fourth weekend, shared among three (3) physicians with additional weekend coverage from U of MD Faculty Infectious Disease group

Work Experience

License to practice medicine in the state of Maryland
