• Duration: Ongoing support needed, with additional monthly dates
• Shift: Rotating call, clinic shifts (Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-12)
• Hours/week: Approximately 10-14 days of work per month, including call
• Employment Type: Locum tenens
• License/Certs: Iowa license or IMLC, DEA
• Experience: Prior OBGYN or relevant specialty experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour
• Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do:

• Provide OBGYN clinical services in outpatient and hospital settings
• Support clinic visits, including prenatal, gynecological, and family planning care
• Offer urgent care and perform deliveries (approximately 30-40/month)
• Assist with hospital call coverage, including emergency situations
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Utilize Meditech and Athena EMR systems for documentation
• Support the site’s connection with internal providers and ongoing operational needs

What You Need:
Required:

• Iowa medical license or IMLC
• DEA registration
• Prior OBGYN or women's health experience

Preferred:

• Ability to work rotating call and clinic shifts
• Strong communication skills and adaptability

About the Assignment:
Join a busy, well-supported clinic with a dedicated team of providers, NP's, and nursing staff. The facility does not have a NICU; complex cases are transferred to Iowa City or Des Moines.
