What You’ll Do
  • Perform core urological procedures, including cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile implants, and lithotripsy.
  • Assist with office visits, patient consultations, and urgent care needs.
  • Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants as required.
  • Manage surgical cases and perform robotic surgeries when necessary.
  • Provide patient education and develop treatment plans for adult patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
What You Need
Required:
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Urology (BC or BE)
  • PA License or IMLC License
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum 1 year of Urology practice experience

Preferred:
  • Experience in robotic procedures
  • Strong surgical and patient management skills
About the Assignment
This position is based at a leading hospital in York, PA, which combines advanced surgical facilities with a supportive clinical environment. The urology department handles a mix of cysto/stent procedures, office visits, and surgical interventions, supporting a patient population over 18. The facility features 16 operating rooms across York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery, with modern equipment including cystoscopes, injection towers, and robotic surgical systems. The role involves supervision of new Advanced Practice Providers and participation in a comprehensive urology service line.
