Physician - Radiation Oncology

East Tennessee Radiation Oncology, a well-established group, is seeking to hire another physician for a partnership track position in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.

The group has a professional services agreement with the largest hospital system in the area, Covenant Health, covering multiple clinics/hospitals and the group is growing to service more facilities within that network.  We anticipate a new physician will be needed to assist with coverage of two clinics within the greater Knoxville area.

• Access to the latest technology including Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, Gamma Knife, HDR afterloaders, a Proton treatment center, a radiopharmaceutical program
• Will work amongst a network of well-trained specialists across the cancer network
• The Cancer Center Network is accredited by the Commission on Cancer with dedicated physician leadership steering major decisions
• A clinical trials team and support is available
• This is a unique opportunity where the physicians of the group have leadership roles and autonomy while serving as the clinical directors for the radiation oncology departments within a broader cancer network. 
• The physician group has a longstanding healthy relationship with the health system with excellent clinical support from medical physics, dosimetry, social work, nursing and nurse navigation, and nutrition services.  
• Familiarity with treatment planning systems including Eclipse (with Velocity), Raystation (Proton), Gamma Plan are a plus but not mandatory.
