Nurse Practitioner - Adult Health

Join Our Team: 

Esse Health is currently looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time opening at our Fenton Family Medicine office!

Opportunity Highlights: 

• Part-time opening working 24 hours a week 
• 3-day workweek - you pick the days!
• Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Outpatient focused clinical practice

Day-to-Day:

• Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients 
• Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
• Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Masters Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Masters Degree
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
• Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
