Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics

Merit Health Wesley is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established outpatient Pediatric clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative pediatric team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families in the community.

Position Highlights

• Hospital-employed, full-time position with Merit Health Wesley
• Outpatient Pediatric clinic setting
• Monday–Friday schedule with typical daytime clinic hours
• Join an established pediatric practice with experienced physicians
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including wellness visits, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and families

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an NP required
• Previous pediatric experience is a plus!
• Currently licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner licensure in Mississippi
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered pediatric care
