We are seeking a compassionate, entrepreneurial-minded Primary Care physician to join our team late in early 2027.

Practice Highlights:

• Join a collaborative team and work alongside 2 physician partners, APPs, MAs, an office manager, and additional support staff
• Transition alongside a 3rd retiring physician, gradually taking over their established patient panel with warm patient handoffs and mentorship
• Create roots in the community without concerns about relocating between clinic sites
• Outpatient, adult only focused practice with flexibility to focus on clinical interests (ADHD, mental health, womens health, LGBTQ+ care, etc.)
• Opportunity for a traditional clinic-plus-inpatient model that utilizes hospitalists if desired 
• Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty care and mentor and teach medical students and residents if desired

Schedule & Hours:

• Clinic hours:
  • Monday- Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Schedule: 4.5 days patient care + 0.5 day administrative (greater flexibility as a shareholder)

Call:

• 1:3 shared call rotation
• One weekend every three weeks 
• Outpatient phone call only
• Triage-first call model

Patient Volume & Support:

• Gradual onboarding ramp-up to build confidence with the EMR, patient care, flow, and coding
• Target at least 18 patients/day as comfort and efficiency increase for financial success 
• Care Management and Hospital at Home resources available, extending care outside of the clinic
• Support staff function at the top of their training, assisting with in-basket management, refills, prior authorizations, and care coordination 

Procedures & Office Details:

• In-office procedures are encouraged and based on physician preferences but not required; precepting available for those interested in learning 
• In-house lab and other services 
• Daily courier service to main Esse lab; results integrated into EMR

• Telehealth available 
• NextGen EMR with AI scribe technology and Dragon dictation

  • Physicians are earning $350K-$750K on average, depending on practice performance and career stage
  • Opportunity to earn shareholder status, typically in years 4-5
• 4 weeks of paid time off, 9 paid holidays, and 5 paid days for CME, with even more flexibility as a shareholder

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (ABMS or AOA)
• Missouri licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Missouri
