Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a dedicated, full-time Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our established Occupational Medicine team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, comprehensive occupational health and wellness services to regional workforces and employers. You will enjoy a supportive clinic culture backed by skilled support staff, utilizing our integrated Meditech Expanse EMR system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational health services, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Perform regulatory, surveillance, and employment-related physical examinations.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to evaluate patient conditions based on clinical examinations, physical appearance, and laboratory or diagnostic data.
• Deliver exceptional patient education, safety guidance, and clear communication regarding return-to-work statuses and accommodations.
• Collaborate closely with local employers, case managers, and multi-disciplinary teams to support a healthy workforce.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

• Credentials: Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Licensure: Currently licensed in Missouri, or eligible to obtain a Missouri state license.
• Experience: Prior experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine is preferred; however, we are open to training the right candidate.
• Core Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills.

• Time Off: Accrue up to 216 hours of time o? (prorated).
• CME Benefits: 40 hours of paid CME time annually with a CME allowance of up to $2,500 per year (prorated).
