North Oaks Health is seeking a full-time, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON who is currently, or has been, Fellowship-trained in SPORTS MEDICINE to join its hospital-employed team in Hammond, Louisiana.
Highlights of the role:
- Shared call between 6 physicians of varying orthopedic sub-specialties
- North Oaks Sports Medicine Team is made up of an additional sports medicine-trained physician, advanced practitioners, physical therapists, sports performance specialists, and certified athletic trainers from the collegiate to high/junior high school level
- Established practice with strong support staff at a well-respected/trusted community hospital
- Not only is North Oaks the Official Health Care Provider of Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics, but our Sports Medicine Team is also very involved across our communitys schools and recreational sports organizations
- Designated Level 2 Trauma Center, and the 2nd-3rd busiest emergency department in the state
