Opportunity Overview

An excellent locum tenens opportunity is available for a Urologist to provide urgent winter coverage, with ongoing monthly shifts available beginning January 2027. Join an established urology team in a well-equipped clinical environment while supporting patient care needs until a permanent physician is hired.

This opportunity offers a combination of weekday clinic responsibilities, nighttime call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage.

Schedule & Coverage

• Initial Coverage: December 18, 2026 January 3, 2027

• Ongoing Coverage: 7 10 shifts per month beginning January 2027

• Assignment Duration: Ongoing until a permanent physician is hired

• Clinic Schedule: Monday Friday

• Call Requirements: Night call and 24-hour weekend call

• Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patients per day

Clinical Environment & Resources

Work alongside an established urology team consisting of 2 additional Urologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners.

Available equipment includes:

• New da Vinci surgical robot

• Urodynamic testing equipment

• Bladder scanner

• Cystoscope and processing equipment

• Rectal ultrasound equipment

EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

• Active South Carolina medical license required

• Prior Epic experience required

• Clear background required

• Must be available for the initial December January coverage period

• Must be available for 7 10 shifts per month beginning January 2027

• Must be comfortable with nighttime call and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities

Credentialing & Onboarding

• Temporary privileges will be requested for the initial December January coverage period.

• Hospital modules and Epic personalization must be completed at least 2 weeks before the start date.

• Candidates should be prepared to complete all required credentialing and onboarding documentation in a timely manner.
