The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Perioperative Specialist for the Orthopedic Service Line at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

Join our perioperative medicine optimization team located at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

• Collaborate with a team of experts to medically optimize patients scheduled for elective orthopedic cases including total joint arthroplasty, spine and sports medicine surgical procedures.
• Perform preoperative physical exams and evaluations, gather risk stratification data, manage referrals, coordinate communication to patients’ primary care providers and surgeons and discharge patients.
• Expertise in orthopedic perioperative care coordination, critical care, pulmonology or cardiology, in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
