Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine

Carolina Pulmonary, part of Lexington Health, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join an established pulmonary practice serving the growing Lexington and Columbia communities. This opportunity offers a blended practice with outpatient pulmonology responsibilities along with inpatient pulmonary and critical care coverage.

Carolina Pulmonary provides comprehensive care for patients with lung and airway disorders and is supported by Lexington Health's full-service hospital network. The practice offers pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep services, and advanced diagnostic capabilities including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS).

About the Position:

• Balanced inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary/Critical Care practice
• Outpatient clinic responsibilities with an established pulmonary patient base
• Participation in inpatient pulmonary service and critical care coverage
• Inpatient pulmonary service historically averaging approximately 10-12 patients
• Access to a 22-bed Medical ICU with strong multidisciplinary support
• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for inpatient and outpatient pulmonary and critical care services
• Comprehensive pulmonary function testing with same-day interpretation capabilities
• Pulmonary rehabilitation and comprehensive sleep services
• Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and advanced pulmonary diagnostic capabilities
• Broad subspecialty support including interventional radiology, anesthesia, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, nephrology, CRRT, and hemodialysis
