ECU Health Medical Center and ECU Health Neurology-Greenville, located in Greenville, NC, are seeking a B/C Epileptologist to provide locums coverage. ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed Level I trauma center, serves as the regional leader for Neurosciences and is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in eastern North Carolina.
Coverage Needed
- As soon as credentialed-ongoing during recruitment
- New providers would need to orient day before or day of first shift.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some night and weekend call
Opportunity Highlights
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
- Established neurology practice inclusive of 12 neurologists and 5 Advanced Practice Providers
- Inpatient and limited outpatient clinical care
- Clinical responsibilities will include EEG coverage and consults for a 4-bed EMU in addition to comprehensive neurology coverage
- Locums will not be required to remain on site while on call
- Average inpatient census: 6- 8 admissions per week
- No critical care duties
- Provider will not respond to codes and will not be expected to serve as backup in ER
