Physician Assistant - Surgery

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join Troy Surgical Associates in Troy, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established General Surgery practice that provides comprehensive surgical care throughout the Capital Region.

Position Details:

• Full-time position supporting a busy General Surgery practice
• Assist surgeons in a variety of procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, appendectomies, hernia repairs, and colorectal surgeries
• Provide pre-operative evaluations, patient assessments, and post-operative management
• Inpatient rounding, floor coverage, and perioperative patient care responsibilities
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
