Physician - Internal Medicine

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine hospitalist to join our team at Baptist Health LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange, KY. Our physician-led program is seeking an energetic and compassionate physician to join us. 

• Open ICU, intubation included
• 15 shifts/month with NO ATO
• Day shift - 7a - 7p
• Night shift - 7p - 7a 1 MD on each of these shifts
• The shifts vary between day and night (mostly day shifts as there is a pool of PRN physicians that cover nights; typically five or fewer night shifts)
• Dont have a 7on/7off schedule right now but if preferred, it could be accommodated.  Usually do 4 days at a time which allows for more life/work balance.
• Hospitalists do all the admitting.
• Have a full-time NP that usually works days but sometimes works nights. If it is busy, will be on days with the MD.
• Average patient load of 15 patients, but can range from 10-18 depending on season.
