The Outer Banks Hospital and Outer Banks General Surgery are seeking BC General Surgery physician to help pick up shifts. New provider will need to come in the day before for orientation.
Coverage Needed:
4/30-5/4/26 (7a-7a)
- 24hr call only - NO CLINIC
- Night & Weekends Required
- Average # of patients/day/provider: 15 cases
- # Of Surgical Cases per week: 8-16 OR Cases
- Established Practice with Existing Surgeon
- No ICU/Critical Care Duties
- No Codes
- ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
- System-wide EMR (EPIC)
PROCEDURES: Emergent general surgery cases: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, etc.
