Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking an acute NP or a PA to be a part of our excellent Hospitalist Group.   

Position Responsibilities:

• APC will be required to complete admissions, consults, subsequent visits, and discharges.
• Coordinate patient care alongside case management, social work, nursing, and collaborating physician.
• Round on average of 12-15 patients per shift.
• 9 AM to 9 PM is the admitter shift
• Nights 7 PM to 7 AM
• Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories.
• Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board supervision agreement and the Mercy Health St. Ritas credentialing boards
• Be available for call about patient conditions according to the shifts schedule. Includes holiday responsibilities.
• 7 on, 7 off 12-hour day shifts from 9 AM to 9 PM or night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM
