Cardiology Fellowship Program Director - 0.3 FTE Administrative
Doctors Hospital Cardiology Fellowship Program is seeking candidates for a new Program Director to oversee all aspects of the fellowship. This 0.3 FTE administrative position is responsible for ensuring the program meets ACGME standards, managing faculty and curriculum, mentoring fellows, and supporting the overall success of the fellowship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Cardiology Fellowship to meet evolving educational needs aligned with strategic planning at OhioHealth and within the Heart and Vascular Service Line.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements for Cardiology
- Provide mentorship and guidance to fellows and faculty
- Oversee curriculum development and program evaluation
- Maintain high standards in clinical and educational experiences
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (must have ABIM or ABMS)
- At least three years of educational and/or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited program
- Commitment to excellence in graduate medical education
- Clinical work is required
