The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking an outstanding, mission-driven gastroenterologist to join our faculty at the Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in general gastroenterology and endoscopy while contributing to UCSF’s academic mission in research, education, and program development.

What We’re Looking For
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology and endoscopy.
  • Demonstrated interest in academic work (research, quality improvement, medical education, or program development).
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and faculty engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Evidence of or potential for leadership in academic medicine.

Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • California medical license or eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure by the time of hire
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology

Join Us at UCSF Health
The minimum base salary range for this position is $110,500-$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan?, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Specific total compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and leadership responsibilities.
