The University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, in partnership with Altru Health System, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Geriatrician to help lead an innovative, community-centered Geriatrics program serving rural and tribal communities across the region. This role offers the opportunity to combine academic leadership, grant administration, and hands-on clinical practice while contributing to health equity initiatives that make a meaningful community impact.

Position Information

Annual salary of $250,000+

50% clinical appointment with Altru Health System

50% academic appointment focused on Geriatrics education, research, and community outreach

Play a key role in a $5 million HRSA Geriatrics & Health Equity Training Grant

Advance innovative Geriatrics curricula, including interprofessional and community service-learning models

Collaborate with rural and tribal sites to strengthen care for older adults

Mentor students, residents, and fellows; contribute to scholarly work
