Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (Permanent Position)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician to join our healthcare team in a permanent capacity. This role offers a balanced schedule combining outpatient clinic hours with operating room duties and hospital call responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including routine examinations, prenatal care, and management of pregnancy-related conditions.
  • Perform essential procedures such as Nexplanon insertions and pessary fittings.
  • Conduct surgeries and procedures in the operating room as scheduled.
  • Participate in hospital call coverage approximately five days per month, offering critical support during patient emergencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule:
  • Clinic hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • One day per week dedicated to operating room procedures.
  • No weekend or on-call duties outside the scheduled hospital call days.

Qualifications:
  • Active California medical license; candidates currently in the process of obtaining their license are encouraged to apply.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Proven experience in providing OB-GYN care, including intrauterine procedures like Nexplanon insertions and pessary fittings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
