Emergency Medicine Physician – Permanent Night Shift Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent position at our facility located in Eureka, California. This opportunity offers a stable, rewarding career in a dynamic emergency department environment.

Position Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, including 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Location: Eureka, CA (2700 Dolbeer Street)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise and mentor ancillary staff where appropriate
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one; candidates willing to secure their CA license are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in emergency medicine, with excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
