Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our esteemed medical team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions, in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and catheterizations, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, prevention strategies, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education to stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology.
- Contribute to the training and supervision of residents and medical students, fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
Qualifications: - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent.
- Valid California Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven clinical experience in adult cardiology, with a strong background in both invasive and non-invasive procedures preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
