Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and Make a Difference in Cancer Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide compassionate, expert care at our state-of-the-art Cancer Center. This full-time opportunity offers you the chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting adult patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes while advancing your professional growth in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Valid state medical license
- DEA registration
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to perform specialized procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Experience with clinical research or subspecialty training
- Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary oncology teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completed Oncology fellowship
- Proven track record of providing exceptional oncology and hematology care
- At least 3 years of post-certification experience
Other Requirements:
- Must have a clean background; a pre-appointment background check is required immediately upon offer
- Willingness to obtain a temporary license if applicable
- Availability to start on or around February 3, 2026
- Commitment to working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with inpatient call every third week
- Ability to offer at least three weeks of full-time coverage per month
