Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner - Medical Oncology
Are you a passionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a focus on oncology care? We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to provide vital support in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our oncology team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care across clinic and hospital settings, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- DEA certification
- Proven experience in an oncology clinic setting
- Proficiency in managing patient infusions, conducting assessments, and handling infusion reactions
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with palliative or supportive oncology care
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or equivalent
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing Practice
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant oncology nursing or advanced practice experience
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work full-time, with shifts likely scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week
- Ability to work both in a clinic and hospital environment
- OT pay applicable after 40 hours per week
- Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements as applicable
