The Greater Los Angeles Health Care System (GLA) is seeking a full-time, board eligible or board-certified physician to join our Division of Gynecology. Become part of a dedicated team providing top-notch care to our Veteran patients. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling general gynecology, gynecologic surgery, and taking call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gynecological care.
- Perform a range of outpatient procedures, but not limited to, pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, and IUD placements.
- Provide exceptional perioperative and operative care, including procedures such as endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopies, laparoscopy, hysterectomies (both minimally invasive and open), and myomectomies.
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes.
- Offer surgical consultations via telehealth and in-person settings.
- Document patient symptoms, order diagnostic tests, and discuss treatment plans.
- Serve as an advisory member on various committees and boards within the medical staff.
- Coordinate Veteran care with facility and community resources.
- Educate and evaluate medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in clinical calls within assigned hours.

Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine
- Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license
- Must have completed residency in an accredited core specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecology surgery, urogynecology, or gynecologic oncology is preferred.
Benefits and Features:
- Salary Range: $255,000-$300,000
- PTO: 50-55 days of PTO annually (26/13 days of annual/sick leave, 11 holidays,)
