Physician - Cardiology

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join Novato Community Hospital, a key community spoke hospital within the Sutter Health cardiovascular network. This well-established site maintains strong clinical integration with the Van Ness Campus / California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) - Sutter s quaternary cardiovascular center of excellence.

This opportunity is ideal for a cardiologist who enjoys the breadth, connection, and continuity of community-based practice while remaining fully aligned with an advanced, high-performing tertiary and quaternary cardiovascular system. Subspecialists in vascular surgery, electrophysiology, and structural heart provide regular on-site outreach, and the location offers excellent ASC opportunities for procedural practice.

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient and outpatient general cardiology in a community setting
• Longitudinal patient care with strong emphasis on continuity
• Community-focused cardiovascular care with ready access to subspecialists
• Coordination of referrals to VNC/CPMC for advanced, tertiary, and quaternary services
• Participation in collaborative care pathways across the Sutter cardiovascular network

Qualifications:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Strong commitment to community-based care and patient-centered practice
• Interest in integrated system practice and collaboration with subspecialty teams
