Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Otolaryngology

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Ear, Nose & Throat in Lima, Ohio is seeking a part-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our busy practice. This provider would work approximately 16 hours/week.

Position Highlights:

• Evaluate and treat inpatient consults
• Daily hospital rounding
• Provide care and minor procedures in outpatient clinic
• Respond to patient phone calls during office hours
• Call required - must be within 30 minutes of the Medical Center.
• Manage patient results
• Assist with in-basket messages and call coverage (1:4)

Education and Skills Required:

• Certified by the NCCPA for Physician Assistant
• Certified by AANP for Nurse Practitioner
• Current (or anticipated) licensure with the state of Ohio as a PA-C or CNP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
