Be part of a well-trained surgical team, performing essential procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, colonoscopy, and upper GI endoscopy, with an average of two cases per day. Required Skills:

• Valid medical license with recent surgical experience
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
• Proficiency in common surgical procedures, including laparoscopic techniques
• Ability to interpret and utilize Epic EMR system
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with trauma or emergency surgery
• Familiarity with hospital-based surgical workflows
• Additional certifications in advanced surgical techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based surgical practice
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work 7-10 days per month, with specific dates including April 6, 7, 9, 17-20
• Willingness to cover general surgery call during assigned shifts
• Travel, lodging, and transportation expenses will be reimbursed at IRS standard rates
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in adult and geriatric populations

Compensation for this role is $19.50 per hour, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, a referral bonus program, paid sick leave per legal requirements, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses when applicable.
