The Cleveland Clinic, one of the worlds most distinguished academic medical centers, is seeking a Staff Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Physician to join our growing Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Neuro-Oncology programs. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment with the full support of Cleveland Clinic Childrens, the Neurological Institute, and the Taussig Cancer Institute.

The Brain Tumor & Neuro Oncology Center (BTNC) is a unique, integrated program within the Neurological Institute and Taussig Cancer Institute. BTNC is a full member of the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative (BTTC) and participates in clinical trials through NRG, industry partnerships, and investigator initiated studies. The program is dedicated to clinical excellence, innovative research, and academic achievement.

 

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and well-established team that includes:

  • 18 Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologists
  • 2 Pediatric Radiation Oncologists
  • 3 Pediatric Palliative Care Physicians
  • 21 Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, including a dedicated Neuro Oncology Care Coordinator and a dedicated APRN for Neuro Oncology

Our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation program is highly active in clinical research and participates in the Childrens Oncology Group, Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy Consortium, and multiple consortia including NEXT, Beat Childhood Cancer, and the Sunshine Consortium. We also host an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship program. Cleveland Clinic Childrens is proud to be the first program nationally to receive Pediatric Cancer Program accreditation from the Commission on Cancer (CoCPS), reflecting our deep institutional collaboration.

 

Qualifications

  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Neurology with additional training in Neuro Oncology
  • Strong clinical interest in the care of children, adolescents, and young adults with CNS tumors
  • Interest in participating in clinical and/or translational research
  • Academic appointment available through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine
